THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This late 1939 Philco Transitone is one of the most Art Deco radios Philco ever made. This model was introduced in August 1939. The walnut case has been professionally refinished in multiple toning lacquers, and is in beautiful condition. The ivory Plaskon trim is also very nice with no cosmetic issues. It has its original back, handle, knobs and partial label on the bottom. The radio has two bands, AM and the old SW Dick Tracy police band. The chassis has been checked by a pro, and the radio is playing fine, picking up all my local AM stations clearly. It has an absolutely killer dial when lit up. It originally sold for $16.95. About 9"W x 6"H x 6"D. |
