Emerson DF-302 w/Ingraham Cabinet (1939)
(wood tube table radio)

Emerson DF-302 w/Ingraham Cabinet (1939)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Emerson model DF-302 picnic portable from 1939 in an Ingraham Clock Company case. Ingraham, of Bristol CT, was noted for their beautiful workmanship, and made cases for several radio companies, but mostly for Emerson. This is a very rare radio to find in this beautiful professionally refinished condition. It has striking inlaid wood and complex grain designs. The colored case lines of red, gold and black are in great condition, and really make the radio stand out. It even has its original leather handle in excellent condition. The cord is held inside the small back door with brass latch. It has its original knobs and full wooden back and wooden grille. It's an AC and battery powered radio. The electronics have been restored by a pro, and everything needing replacing was done. It is playing clearly and picking up all my local AM stations on AC. This Emerson is a rare Ingraham radio in great condition. Over 30 years, I have only seen two of this particular Emerson Ingraham models. You're not likely to see another one. About 13"W x 9-1/2"H x 7-1/2"D. Free shipping to the continental USA.
