THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

GE produced a lot of different radio models over the years, but none as distinctive and stylish as the "Turbine" lineup from 1939. They were really an incredible unique design unlike any other radio. They were made in Bakelite with brown mottling and beautiful ivory Plaskon. This hard-to-find Plaskon model H-500 is in really pristine condition without any cracks, chips or cosmetic problems. The radio has been checking out by my technician and is playing fine, picking up all my local AM stations clearly. The dial lamp shines thru the white dial wheel when the radio is turned on, creating quite an unusual effect. This model H-500 came without a built-in loop antenna, so it uses an antenna wire. There is most of the original label on the bottom. It's a very small radio at about 9"W x 5-1/2"H x 5"D.
